Baiame and the Milky Way
Southeast published accounts place Baiame beside the Milky Way, with Daramulan coming to Earth by a path from the sky.
Ridley, Fraser, and later Fuller et al. note Baiame worshipped at bora, dwelling beside a great stream of water that is the Milky Way. Daramulan is the means by which Baiame sees all.
That is Law in the sky, not a Greek river of stars. The dark dust is Country. What is up there is also down here, a theme Gamilaraay participants stated to Fuller.
Mercury draws the published Milky Way as a river-band in the Gamilaraay sky. It does not stage Baiame as a playable god.
