Wurdi Youang is a Wathaurung stone arrangement with published solstitial and equinoctial sunset alignments.
Norris, Norris and Hamacher’s work on the site is one of the few Australian arrangements argued as a careful solar record. The claim is alignment, not a reconstructed ritual walk.
This catalog lists it as a site object. /sky may mark the sunset azimuths as ticks on the horizon from Wathaurung latitude. It does not build a stone circle you can enter as ceremony.
William Buckley lived with Wathaurung people decades earlier. His Moon-as-boomerang note is a different card we have not shipped. Do not collapse Buckley into Wurdi Youang.
